Hello
I’m a Front End Web Developer and Designer living and working in London. I enjoy solving human problems with technology and creating interactive experiences, online and offline. I’ve been at it for more than 25 years, with a 5 year stint in the middle where I owned a coffee shop. I’ve freelanced, worked in ad agencies and big corporations. This has given me a wide variety of skills, from aligning stakeholders to coding and setting up domains and servers, scoping projects and training colleagues. I can see the users needs, the business expectations and the technical requirements simultaneously.
Currently, I’m working at a big finance firm where I help build and maintain a wide variety of landing pages and digital experiences like calculators and interactive guides, acting as a dev and technical lead. On a daily basis I’m helping the transition to AI, while still doing some coding in HTML, CSS and Javascript. As a senior member of my team, I help train new members and have had a big part in building out processes and workflows that help us scale quickly and efficiently. I’ve also shaped our program establishing our first design system in Figma, building components and creating new features into our systems that have made development easier and faster.
